Certification and product quality

Upon request, you may also purchase matchboxes with FSC certification, i.e. we produce our matchboxes using materials from renewable resources. Apart from that, our promotional matches and custom printed matchboxes are manufactured to the ISO EN 1783 standard.

Made from aspen or poplar wood, our 47 mm long matches are free from sulphur or other heavy metals. For an additional charge, some selected match models can also be dyed (e.g. in black, red, blue, green, yellow, etc.). Without any extra charge, you can choose from among 16 different striking head colours to create the perfect fusion with your custom printed box!

Custom printed short matchboxes and design posibilities

From a quantity of only 500 units, KM Zündholz supplies custom printed short promotional matches at an attractive price. They are customised with offset printing using the Euroscale (CMYK = four colours), Pantone or HKS colour systems. When it comes to the finish, you can choose between UV coating, matt coating, soft touch coating or – if you would like to emphasise a certain part of the box in a particularly effective way – partial UV coating.

Several design possibilities allow you to complete your promotional matches with a unique, high-quality finish, such as classy blind or hot foil embossing, printed sliders, striking head mixes with up to 3 different head colours, special cartons (metallic carton, art paper, laid carton, eco kraft paper, etc.), coloured striking surfaces, flocked matches, printed caddies or special packaging (e.g. boxes individually packed in foil).
